Designers Reserve Collection

The Designers Reserve collection unites some of the worlds top interior designers (Barbara Berry, Kevin Walz, and Vicente Wolf ) with the ancient handicraft of carpet making. Each designer, at the express invitation of James Tufenkian, is given the opportunity to have their designs brought to life. They conceive, mold and create carpets which have meaning to them.

We hope you enjoy them as well. Each makes a masterful use of color, texture, and design. Relax and enjoy.

We have samples of each of the carpets created by Tufenkian but in most cases there are additional color ways available.

In addition, most of the carpets are available in the following standard sizes: 3 x 5, 4 x 6, 8 x 10, and 9 x 12.  Many are available in 10 x 14 and as runners in 3 x 10 and 3 x 12.  If you have a unique size requirement, custom sizes can always be woven especially for you.

Barbara Berry

Barbara Barry's association with Tufenkian goes back to the mid 1990's. As a Interior Design Hall of Fame Member she has been recognized as one of the worlds top designers. In this designers reserve collection Barry explores simple geometric patters, in rich color, using varied materials. Their simple elegance and outstanding beauty is easily at home in any room.

Kevin Walz

Originally trained as an architect and fine artist, Kevin's technical understanding of carpet making pushes the envelope favoring new hand-weaving techniques that combine cut loop piles, mixed ply yarns, hi - low cuts and handspun silk accents.

Mark Pollak

Mark Pollack, known primarily for his upholstery, wall coverings, and window fabrics has joined the Tufenkian Designers Reserve collection to create a series of carpets in innovative designs and bold color combinations.
